Divisible Traceability Label

In close cooperation with Scanvaegt Systems, Scanvaegt Labels supplied a complete solution for traceability labelling to a Danish abattoir.

The solution consist of labelling equipment, including the software system, and labels.

For the job Scanvaegt Labels has developed several new special labels, made from cardboard and tear-proof plastic respectively, which are used throughout all the cutting departments in the abattoir.

The traceability label has et special ”divisible” design with more identical labels on the same ”sheet” - they can be torn off one at a time, when cutting the meat, and then placed at the cut out part in the E2-boxes. This ensures that the traceability data will be attached to and follow the cut out part onwards from the cutting department.
