Precise and gentle weight grading

SG520 Process Weigher efficiently handles grading of products in up to eight weight groups. The grading which takes place quickly and gently using catch-arm, drop-down belts or flipper arm ensures accurate batch weight and reduces “give-away”.

SG520 Process Weigher can also be used for batching to minimum weight, sorting the products into a pre-defined batch weight. The system continuously accumulates the products’ individual weight and calculates which batch and bin the individual product should be sorted into.

Regulating the filling process

SG520 Process Weigher can regulate input quantities in a filling process using feed-back signals. If the weighing system detects over- or underweight products, a signal is sent forward or backward to the filling machine, after which the volume is increased or decreased in proportion to the predefined weight limits.
This makes it possible to make quick corrections and avoid over- or underweight products.
