Robust On-Board Weighing System

To achieve an accurate and reliable weighing solution, he encourages haulers to have load cells mounted on the chassis when the truck is at the bodybuilder.

“With a chassis scale, the hauler obtains a stable and robust mobile weighing system that ensures precise weighing results in a simple manner and eliminates the risk of overloading. The load cells are fixed components that require no lubrication, do not wear out, and are rust-resistant,” explains Lennart Svenstrup.

The chassis scale is designed with standard components and typically consists of six load cells – three mounted on each side of the chassis – along with cables, a weighing instrument, a receipt printer, and optionally an internet connection.
