Welmec and EU approval
Scanvaegt’s weighing solutions are approved by Welmec and the EU in accordance with Directive 2009/23/EC for displaying weighing results from one or two scales.
As the sole provider of weighbridge solutions in Scandinavia, Scanvaegt Systems obtained approval on June 30, 2020, for displaying weighing results and printing valid weigh tickets on driver terminals for settlement purposes in accordance with Directive 2009/23/EC for Non-automatic Weighing Instruments.
The mandatory testing required by the authorities has been carried out by Force Technology in accordance with OIML R76:2006 and EN45501:2015.
The approval covers the following products:
- ScanX.NET software for recording, displaying, and printing weighing results
- VT200 data terminal hardware and Disomat Opus weighing instrument
The weighing solution with ScanX.NET and VT200 is used in connection with the valid ‘display of the weight’ and for registering weighing results from weighbridges. The approval means that the weighing results are valid and can be recorded, transferred, displayed, printed on receipts/tickets, and used as a basis for further settlement.
When a weighing result is registered in ScanX.NET, the result is stored in the ScanX.NET system under an alibi number for historical documentation.
Authority approval is available upon request.
