Linerless labels

The new linerless labels eliminate label waste, reduce consumption, and increase flexibility.

Linerless labels consist of a long, continuous strip of label paper with adhesive on the back—there are no individual, separate labels on the roll.

When printing a label, the print length is automatically adjusted to eliminate any wasted blank space on the label—this prevents unnecessary label consumption. An automatic cutter on the printing equipment cuts the finished label.

It is possible to print varying label layouts and lengths on the same label roll.

The automatic label adjustment eliminates unused space and ensures automatic sizing of the label. This reduces costs for label material and makes the printed labels more appealing.

Linerless labels can be supplied either with printing—such as a logo and a border in a custom design—or without printing in white or other colors.

Both the paper material and the adhesive are approved for use in connection with food products. Read more about linerless food labels here.
