Scanvaegt's system for efficient weighing and registration of scrap, iron, waste metals etc. comprises weighbridge, data-terminal and a customized software-package.

The vechicles with the scrap products to be recycled are weighed-in on the weighbridge, where they also register all data via the data-terminal. The data are then transferred to a PC in the weigher's office, where they are stored and prepared for transfer to a central database in the company's head office.

As it's the local weighing PC, which controls the weighing process, you can still do all the weighing jobs on the weighbridge, even if the connection to the central database should go down. The Scanvaegt solution therefore a very reliable system, which easily handles the weighings and tranfers the data to the central database.

The data can at the same time be tranferred to other administrative systems, e.g. economy- and stock management systems.
